12:05 pm - Wye Marsh Birds of Prey Presentation

The Wye Marsh in Midland, Ontario "Comes to You" in this amazing presentation. See them soar through the air, experience their power, capture their beauty and grace, become one with nature's amazing creatures, experience the Birds of Prey. The Master Falconer and the birds will also be staying on site for the duration of the festival.

1:00 pm - Aboriginal Drumming with the Peel Aboriginal Network

The Peel Aboriginal Network (PAN) will be performing Traditional Drumming and Singing.  The group provides a social, cultural, educational and awareness network of Aboriginal Culture and Heritage.  PAN holds a traditional Drumming and Singing Circle every Wednesday night at the PAN Cultural Centre and everyone is always welcome.

2:25 pm - Rutherford Williams

Based out of Brampton, ON, Rutherford Williams is a five piece band whose music can best be described as folk-rock/alternative. They have been together for just over a year and have already put out their first album: a four song self-titled EP which debuted in June 2010. Their music is written from the pure, simple desire to express. For them, their musical energy is best spent on turning thoughts and emotion into lyrics and sound. This process leads to diverse lyrical topics: everything from social and environmental themes, to philosophical musings on life and love. They live to share their music - Join them!

2:50 pm - Headliner Chris McKhool, featuring Junk2Funk from Whitehorn PS

Under the direction of teacher Michael Phillips, Junk2Funk is a music group comprised of 100 grade 5 students from the school, whose motto is "Changing our world - one beat at a time". About 50 students will be performing, playing instruments made from recycled objects found at Creative Zone - the Peel District School Board's recycled materials warehouse.
 
2009 JUNO Award nominee Chris McKhool is hailed as "Canada's greatest eco-troubadour for young people" and a "Children's musical star" (National Post).  Mckhool has been touring across North America with his concerts for over ten years, reaching almost 1 million children, and has appeared on Mr. Dressup, YTV's Treehouse and the CBC.
 
McKhool’s latest CD, FiddleFire!, earned him a 2009 Parents’ Choice Award, a 2009 iParenting Media Award, and the 2009 JUNO Award Nomination.  A champion of environmental issues, Chris has also won a Green Toronto Award of Excellence with his other CDS and concerts.
